RJRTV: Year in Review 2011
Well another year has ended and it’s time to recap on the year that was, but in a short but brief manner.
From QLD 11 to becoming a brony, from being accepted to the YouTube Partner program and losing the suit and unlocking Cecilia, it’s all here in this special new years recap video!
Quick Update (27/11/11)
With another year coming to a close, I’ve been very busy with many things such as work and such. So that mean’t I’ve hadn’t had time to put together a new video in weeks!
But that’s changing now with this quick, and I mean very quick update video featuring a wrap up of what’s been happening, a quick look at Cecilia and my new crossplay/crossdress work, how one YouTube Poop made me join the herd and become a brony and lots more!
Quick Update (25/9/2011)
With work piling on the extra workload, I've haven't had a chance to do any new videos, but that all changes in this new quick update vid!
On this edition, we'll cover two special shoutouts, bring you up to date on Scenic Scenes and preview two new costumes! (Señorita and Gypsy)
From the Exec: Trolls & You
First off, this video is unpaid. Meaning I've haven't submitted a rev share application for it.
Anyway, one of my deviantART friends was attacked by a group of trolls this morning and made him remove his crossplay pics from his page. That has made me very angry and knowing from experience,
this has to be the lowest act these trolls have ever done.
So in this special vid, I share my thoughts on the situation plus provide some advice on how to beat the trolls at their own game.
Unboxing: Sailor Moon Plushies! (Part Deux)
Well after the success of the first set of Sailor Moon plushies that I purchased (and the ice cold trolls on deviantART which did a number on my page), I decided to get another set, and along with it, a brand new unboxing video!
This time, it's the R season civilian series plushies plus two surprises in store! Well, not technically a surprise, but close enough......
Feature: CrystaltheEchidna
Well.....things have been picking up very quickly on my deviantART page, including some new friends! So I thought I share this vid, One of my deviantART friends recently started a video blog on her YouTube channel and did a shout out!
Note: This video may be blocked in some countries due to the music content, so apologies if this is the case.
Quick Update: Long Overdue! (19/8/11)
It’s been a hectic three weeks for RJRTV with family events, aborted video shoots, the future of Guide to Zentai, some new Sailor Moon plushies being acquired and a mega cosplay photoshoot with two new costumes! So what’s in store for the rest of the year? It’s all here in this Quick Update video!
Acceptance at Last.
As you may already know from the From the Exec blog post yesterday (link), and from the new website banner and background. I finally decided to come clean (not out, totally different thing) to my parents on my crossplay/crossdress work that I've been doing over the last year and a half and spawned four videos.
So in honour of the occuation, I've made this special collage up of the many different cosplays that I've done during that time. From being a princess, to being wicked as a witch.
Thanks for your continued support during this time!
Unboxing: Sailor Moon Plushies!
After three weeks without a editing computer which sadly went in a cloud of smoke and fried electronics, RJRTV has been on limited resources. But $800 and shipping costs later, a new computer (well technically not new, more like used), a Mac Pro to be exact has been setup, put online and ready to go.
So how has this impacted RJRTV for three weeks? Also an update on Guide to Zentai plus a first look at little project that I'm doing in Photoshop Elements 9. All in this Welcome Back edition of the Quick Update!
After the initial photo shoot of my new costume project in the Victorian Era "Mourner" style, I decided to expand on the project some more and shoot two videos of the costume in it's WIP stage. The first video (link) showed off the features of the costume itself.
This video showcases the "Mourner" style in more detail with a mix of indoor and outdoor shots with various poses and a windy winter's day to top it all off!
Recently, things haven't been going right for me YouTube wise, so I decided to do another costume project in the Victorian Era theme following up from my gentry costume that I did earlier in the year.
This video showcases a quick look at my work in progress project titled "Mourner", which features at this stage the gown/dress (blue taffeta) and cape from my gentry costume, a pair of white
satin gloves and a black hat with veil. I'm in the process of getting a new costume for this style.
